For the month of July we are excited to announce that Dr. Neil Sharma, MD Geriatrics of Presence Healing Arts Pavilion in New Lenox will be speaking to our audience regarding “Senior Health and Immunizations” along with “Preparing Your Health for Winter.

Many of us may joke about the cold winter weather ahead but if you want to survive it, there are several things you must do to prepare for “Old Man Winter” to stay healthy, happy and whole.  Taking time to plan and prepare, using common sense and being extra cautious can be just the ticket to a illness-free winter.

Dr. Sharma will be speaking to us about how we can help achieve that illness-free winter.  He will be discussing the importance of the influenza, shingle and pneumonia vaccines for senior citizens in today’s world.  He will also be bringing to our attention other ways you can utilize to keep healthy during cold and flu season.  If you have any questions of the doctor he will be happy to answer them after his discussion.
