Need a Ride?   Call (815) 485-6431 - New Lenox Township Transportation Service.  Door to door transportation services are conveniently provided within New Lenox Township, Monday through Friday, from 7am to 4:30pm for people desiring transportation, including senior citizens, handicapped, youth. 

Trips may be scheduled to adjacent townships for medical purposes, physical therapy and visits to nursing homes. 

Twenty-four hour advanced scheduling is required for rides but same day calls can be accommodated by our availability. 

One Way Fares in New Lenox Township are: 

Children under six are free with adult (limit 2)                                                                                                                                        

Kids ages 6-13 are   $1.25        

Students ages 14-18 are $2.50                        

Adults ages 19 to 59 years are $2.50            

Seniors 60 years plus are $1.25 

For Medical Transportation to Neighboring Towns:

Kids (under six) - free with adult (limit of two)                                             

Kids ages 6-13 are   $2.50        

Students ages 14-18 are $5.00                

Adults ages 19 to 59 years are $5.00             

Seniors 60 years plus are $2.50

We have bi-monthly mall trips the second Wednesday of each month and the fourth Monday of each month.   These trips are also double fee.   Reservations in advance are necessary for these trips.

Fares as shown are one-way.   Fares are doubled when going to adjacent townships. 

Riders who rearrange or cancel transportation must notify the Township Transportation Department 24 hours in advance of scheduled ride.

Riders must be able to board the vehicles independently.  

Due to other scheduled rides, drivers can only wait up to five minutes for passengers to board the bus.
