Old Plank Trail Community Bank Hosts “Bowl for Kids’ Sake”

Are you ready to help make an impact and start something positive for children in your community?

Join Old Plank Trail Community Bank in partnership with the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization to  host “Bowl for Kids’ Sake” on Saturday, March 23, 2013 from 2 – 4 p.m. at Laraway Lanes, 1009 W. Laraway Rd. in New Lenox, IL 60451.

The Big Brothers Big Sisters organization makes meaningful monitored matches between adult volunteers and children in communities across the country. The vision is for all children to achieve success in life. “Bowl for Kids’ Sake” is their largest national fundraiser, raising over $20 million annually for children in need. The event is a fun and easy way to positively impact a child’s life.

There are three simple steps to follow in order to become a part of the event: Create a team of five, start fundraising (at least $100 per team member), and start bowling. The honorary chair of the event will be Tim Baldermann, “Big Brother” and the mayor of New Lenox.
