Spirit Halloween Opens in New Lenox

Spirit Halloween opens for only a month in New Lenox.

The store at 414 Nelson Road is a seasonal operation, but it has everything you'd want for the perfect Halloween costume. From crazy wigs to fake blood to friendly harvest characters, Spirit Halloween is stocked full. 

Manhattan's 12-year-old Tyler Piel selected a Hunter Zombie costume. "I like zombies," he said.

His mom Alicia Piel said that Tyler and his friends play the video game, Minecraft, all the time. There are lots of zombies and creepers in it."

For Kyle Shanahan of Elwood and his fiancée Victoria Agullera of New Lenox, Spirit Halloween had the perfect pair of wigs for their '80s costumes. He's going as a young Bret Michaels of the band Poison, and she's the devoted groupie who hangs on every note he sings.
