Providence Students Make the Grade, Named Illinois State Scholars
Forty five Providence Catholic High School students were recognized as among the best in the state.

Forty five Providence Catholic High School students have been recognized as 2014-2015 Illinois State Scholars.
This prestigious award is given annually by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission, the organization that recognizes the top high school students from across the state.

Illinois State Scholars rank in the top 10 percent of high school seniors across the state. Selection is based on SAT, ACT and Prairie State Achievement Exam scores, as well as grade point average at the end of junior year.
“We are very proud of these students and their significant accomplishment,” said Providence Principal Don Sebestyen.
