A New Lenox singer and motivational speaker released her debut music video.
Ashleigh Ashton's video for her song "Break in Two" already has nearly 2,000 views.
Ashton, 18, recently returned from the Montauk Music Fest in New York. She also has played various festivals and venues in and around Chicago.
"Ashleigh has been singing in bars and at open mics with her guitar since the age of 9, and has gradually had more and bigger opportunities come her way," according to a press release. "Today, she is 18 and is loves to share her original music and to connect with people. She shares the stage with her older sister on keyboards and her younger sister on guitar. The girls share a natural sibling harmony and love of music. Her message is one of self empowerment, a theme in all of her original songs. She hopes to inspire people to stand tall and believe in their dreams!"
