New Lenox EMA Workers Collecting Food & Supplies For Tornado Victims

Brothers William and Nick Byerley, both EMA officers, are collecting supplies for Diamond and Coal City residents affected by Sunday's tornado.

Two village EMA workers are collecting food and supplies for victims of Sunday's tornado.

William Byerley, a sergeant with New Lenox EMA, and his brother Nick Byerley, an EMA officer, are collecting items at their business, PageDesk Incorporated, 14557 W. Edison Drive in New Lenox.

The Byerley requested the following:

  • Non-perishable food items
  • Fruit
  • Bags of chips
  • Bottled water
  • Rubbermaid totes
  • Cardboard boxes
  • Files with closeable tops for documents
  • Toys
  • Large garbage bags
  • Toiletries
  • Work gloves
  • Bleach
  • Buckets 
  • Sponges
  • Mops
  • Towels
  • Baby formula
  • Infant care items
  • Diapers
  • Bedding
  • Flashlights
  • Batteries
  • Manual can openers
  • Aspirin
  • Brown lunch bags
  • Sharpies
  • Dog and cat food
  • Disposable coffee cups with lids
  • Duct tape
  • Tarps
  • Scissors
