Rotary Club Clothing Drive

The New Lenox Rotary Club will be sponsoring a clothing drive on Saturday, Jan. 28, from noon to 3 p.m. at the .

Score a Touchdown with New Lenox Rotary Clothing Drive will be kicking off the Superbowl parties by helping out the Daybreak Center of Joliet.  The Daybreak Center is looking for new or gently used men’s, women’s and children’s clothing in all sizes.

Daybreak Shelter operates 24-hours a day, 365 days a year and provides emergency housing, and supportive services to individuals and families who are homeless. Some participants in the program are in need of short-term housing, as a result of a situational crisis. Others need support services as they work to reestablish permanent housing.

Rotary President Bill Garrigan said, “The New Lenox Rotary is always looking for ways to help the community.  In the current economic times, we are happy to be able to sponsor a clothing drive that will help so many in need.”

Each person who makes a donation will receive a ticket to be entered to win one of several autographed NFL prizes.
