New Life Church Cadets Scouting Program

On Wednesday, September 7, 2011, at 6:45 p.m. the New Life Church Cadets will kick off their new program year in high gear. Dave Krohe, owner of Pure Fitness in Homer Glen, will put the counselors and cadets through their paces as they begin a 3-month challenge to improve their physical fitness and earn their merit badge in this area.

Krohe's personal and sports performance fitness center has been featured on both ABC 7 and WGN 9 news. Interested boys are invited to check out Cadets at this energy-filled first meeting.

The Cadet group is open to all boys 2nd through 8th grade in New Lenox and the surrounding communities. It is a faith-based scouting program which helps boys learn to live out their faith in all areas of life. Activities include merit badge work, outreach projects, Bible devotions, camp outs and the annual Pinewood Derby races. Families do not have to be church members to enroll their sons in Cadets and are always welcome to worship at New Life at a weekend service or participate in other church ministry offerings.
