Julia Pickham Benefit Dinner

A benefit dinner for Julia Pickham is being held on Sunday May 1 at Chicago Dough Company (1080 E. Lincoln Hwy New Lenox) from 5:30pm to 9:30pm. The cost of the pizza buffet is $10.99 for adults and $6.99 for children 12 and younger, with part of the proceeds going to the Julia Pickham Benefit Account.  Guests will also have the chance to purchase tickets for a variety of raffle prizes, a 50/50 Split The Pot, partake in the Lollipop Pull, or win a fabulous door prize.

Julia Pickham is the 12 year old daughter of Sue Pickham, who is employed at the New Lenox Park District.  Julia is a lifelong New Lenox resident and attends Martino Jr. High.  She is an honor roll student, cheerleader, volunteer, Girl Scout and is actively involved in her community.

Julia is having major Spinal Fusion Surgery due to Scoliosis.  She has an atypical curve of the thoracic vertebrae measuring 42 degrees.  Her curve also rotates and is progressing rapidly.  If left untreated heart and lung function will be severely compromised.  This life saving surgery is very costly, and Julia will have a long rehabilitation to face after the surgery.
