Habitat builds house in Harrah’s parking lot!

 

Joliet, IL—August 17, 2012: The House Our Community Built. Will County Habitat for Humanity will Partner with Harrah's Joliet Casino and Hotel and labor volunteers to erect a home in Harrah’s parking lot.

 

Peace Memorial Church — C.R.E.W. will begin to create walls to build a house.

 

Midwest Generation will help volunteers with the build process on August 23 & 24, 2012.

 

ExxonMobil will arrive on Thursday, September 20, 2012 to dismantle the house and transport it to 229 Princeton, Lockport, IL. There will await the excavated land to erect the house permanently.

 

Will County Habitat will be selling 2x4 boards for $5 each. People will be able to write on the boards and Habitat will use the boards in the building of the house.  The homeowner will not be able to see the dedications but will definitely feel the love of the community.

 

The Boards will be for sale throughout the build until the 20 Sept.
