      The skies will be filled with fireworks, the streets will be filled with marching bands, and celebrations of all kinds will be taking place all across Will County during the upcoming 4th of July weekend.

     There will be a huge assortment of fun activities and ways you can celebrate our nation's independence too ...

Fireworks:  Dellwood Park, 18th & Lawrence Ave., Lockport

Starts at:  Dusk, 9:10 pm  
Salute the Soldiers:  July 4th - Noon to 5 pm
Held at:  Chaney Pool, Heritage Pool, Challenge Pool

Mokena Chamber of Commerce - 4th of July Parade & Celebrations
Annual Parade:  4th of July
Starts at:  10:00 am
The Mokena Parade is the largest & most popular parade in Chicago's Southland
Parade Route:  The Parade starts on Wolf & LaPorte Roads, heading north on Wolf Road, then to Granite Drive
Main Park Activities:   
4:00 pm - The 2nd Kentucky Cavalry demonstrating civil war artillery pieces.
7:30 p.m. - Free concert by “The Encore Band”
9:30 p.m. - Concert will conclude with a rendition of Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture, with cannons firing in time with the music.
Fireworks start at:  Dusk - 9:45 pm.

Naperville 4th of July Fireworks - Ribfest

Activities Held at:   
Village Commons, 1 Veterans Parkway, New Lenox  
FREE Shuttle Service between the Metra parking lot and Commons Park available.  Shuttle Service is available from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm.  Service resumes AFTER the fireworks are over.
Start:  7:00 pm concert:  Rock This Way
              8:30 pm concert:  Joliet American Legion
              9:30 pm Fireworks!  (approx.)


Plainfield Patriotic Picnic and Fireworks

Held at:  Plainfield Central High School, 24120 W. Fort Beggs Drive, Plainfield
