Sign up for the March 15 Boating Safety Class

Volunteers from the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary will present "About Boating Safely" on Saturday, March 15, at the Four Rivers Environmental Education Center at 25055 S. Walnut Lane in Channahon.  Class starts at 08:30 am and will be complete by 5 pm.  This is the most popular introductory boating class in the country.   Routine procedures, common boating terms, handling emergencies and state and federal laws will be discussed.  Completion of this class is required for power boaters who have not reached the age of 18 years.  This training is helpful for newer boaters.
Lunch is not provided.   To register for the class, call Bob Allen at 1-630-621-5544.  The course fee is $40.
