The New Lenox Fire Protection District is in for quite a challenge April 25 when they take on the Lincolnway Special Recreation Association Rolling Falcons in a charity basketball game at Lincoln-Way Central High School. The Rolling Falcons are coming off two impressive finishes at the National Wheelchair Basketball Association National Tournament and will have players from both teams in uniform to play against the firefighters.
The wheelchair basketball charity event is open to the public and tips off at 7 p.m. It will be the last in a series of fund-raising games that helps finance LWSRA’s trip to the Louisville, KY national tournament.
