22nd Annual On the Road to Literacy Conference

On March 23rd the
Literacy Volunteers of Illinois and the UIC Center for Literacy will present
their 22nd annual On the Road to Literacy
Conference from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 1040 West Harrison St. in Chicago. Over
20 workshops throughout the day will explore strategies, techniques and
materials for adult literacy tutors, students and program staff. It will also
be a space to collaborate on the most effective and innovative methods to fight
low literacy rates in Illinois.
