Local Business Receives Award

The New Lenox Fire Protection District awarded a firefighter statue to a local business for their continued generosity to the fire district. 

Fire Chief Jon Mead and Board of Trustees President Roy "Skip" Minger presented the award to Dean De Angelis of Allstate Insurance.  The local business has been very supportive to the fire district.  They were one of four local businesses that contributed to "Community Family Fun Day" held at Fire Station One in August, among various other contributions from the Office of Dean De Angelis. 

"We wanted to honor and show appreciation for the support and generosity Allstate, Office of Dean De Angelis does not only for the fire district, but the entire community as well", states Fire Chief Jon Mead.
