Fire District Presents Award to Target

Target receives appreciation award from New Lenox Fire Chief Jon Mead and President of the Trustee Board, Roy "Skip" Minger.

The New Lenox Fire Protection District presented an award to  Manager Jose Rizera. The local Target store has been very supportive and generous to the community and Fire District. 

The store has even donated car seats for the ambulances for the safe transport of infants and children to the hospital, among other contributions. Fire Chief Jon Mead and Board of Trustees President Roy "Skip" Minger presented the bronze firefighter statue to Target, offering their appreciation on behalf of the fire district.

I think the people at Target are exceptionally great to do business with - they're an asset to our community.

People coming from the east will now have to fight through school traffic at Rt. 30/Schoolhouse.Read More People from southwest New Lenox will have to either venture up Cedar, which is painfully slow... or take Spencer from Laraway, in which they will have to cross Rt. 30 to go straight. Won't be an easy picnic.
