"Controlled Burn" Cook-Off

Show off your cooking skills and join the First Annual "Controlled Burn Cook-Off" Fundraiser during Proud American Days!

The New Lenox Fire Foundation will be hosting it's First Annual "Controlled Burn" Beef Cook-Off Saturday, July 28th in conjunction with Proud American Days.

Interested businesses, organizations and individuals may pick up an application at New Lenox Fire Station One located at 261 E. Maple Street.  The entry fee is $75, which includes a 15lb roast.  Rules and Regulations will be provided in the application packet.  After the competition is judged, the remaining beef will be sold to the public, all proceeds will benefit the New Lenox Fire Foundation's Save a Life Program.

Winner of the cook-off will receive a traveling trophy.  The deadline for registration is July 1st, 2012.
