Santa Tracker: Where to Find the Big Guy This Weekend

Want to take your kids to see Santa? Check out the map we put together of all the spots he'll hit in Frankfort, Mokena and New Lenox.

What's more exciting and/or terrifying for a kid than meeting Santa Claus?

If you want to get a photo you'll cherish or give your child a shot to tell Santa what he or she wants for Christmas, here's where you can find the big guy around the Lincoln-Way area.

Thursday, Dec. 1

, Frankfort: 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Annual holiday tree lighting with refreshments and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. More info.

Saturday, Dec. 3

, Frankfort: Dec. 3, 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. $5 ticket for breakfast with Santa.

, New Lenox: 9 a.m. to noon. Take a photo with Santa and get a free digital copy.

, New Lenox: 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Have your pet take a photo with Santa. $5 per print, and digital copies are emailed. All photo proceeds and raffle donations will benefit the Crossroads Shih Tzu Rescue.

: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Donate to TLC Animal Shelters and get a free photo with Santa.

, Frankfort: Dec. 3, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. $7.50 per ticket for lunch with Santa. More info.

Sunday, Dec. 4

, New Lenox: 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Come by for entertainment, treats, a tree lighting and, of course, Santa.

Saturday, Dec. 10

: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Donate to TLC Animal Shelters and get a free photo with Santa.

, New Lenox: 10 a.m. REGISTER BY DEC. 1. Santa will visit while families make crafts, listen to music and enjoy treats. $6 per child, $9 per adult.

, New Lenox: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Santa visits the bank between 11 and 1 while other activites run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

, Frankfort: 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Join Santa and Frosty the Snowman for lunch, including a storyteller and a photo. REGISTER BY DEC. 7. $8-13. More info.

Sunday, Dec. 11

, Frankfort: Your pets can take a photo with Santa, with all proceeds going to the Animal Welfare Society. Schedule an appointment at 815-806-8081.

, Frankfort: The Pickwick Tea Room is having tea with Santa. Get your reservations for Sunday 12/11 or next Sunday, 12/18. Space is limited and filling up. (815) 806-8140. Both events are 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 17

: 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. The fire district invites the community to a pancake breakfast, and Santa will be the special guest.

, New Lenox: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The bank hosts its open house, along with snacks, carols and a visit from Santa.

: Dec. 17 and Dec. 18: Noon to 2 p.m. at  The store doesn't have its own listing because it went up in November and will be down by the end of the month. It's a weird thing, and I'm doing a small piece on it Tuesday. But you can use the Trolley Barn link for it.

Sunday, Dec. 18

, Tinley Park: Dec. 18, 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. $15 ticket includes breakfast with Santa and tokens for play on indoor attractions.
