Police Blotter: Car Stolen From New Lenox Home

New Lenox police reports, Aug. 31 to Sept. 2.

SUNDAY, SEPT. 2

Stolen car

A 2009 white Toyota Camry was stolen from a driveway in the 300 block of Arbor Hill Court. The car was left unlocked with the keys in the vehicle, said Deputy Chief Robert Pawlisz. Police are investigating the incident.

SATURDAY, SEPT. 1

Tickets issued

Juan Medina, 46, of Joliet, was ticketed for improper passing in the 400 block of East Route 30. A computer check of his license revealed that his license had been suspended. He was ticketed for both matters.

iPad theft

Police say they were called by Walmart officials in reference to the theft of two iPads. The value of the merchandise was not revealed in the report.

FRIDAY, AUG. 31

Package stolen from the doorstep

A package delivered to a home in the 500 block of Beech Street was stolen. The value of the merchandise was $30, according to the report. 

Trio of tickets

Ryan Buchhaas, 21, of Joliet, was ticketed after a two-car accident at the intersection of Cedar Road and Illinois Highway. Tickets were issued for failure to yield, operating an uninsured vehicle and driving on a suspended license.
