Chanel approached Little Black Dress Club with the idea of a premier event featuring their product.  When asked they chose LBDC, Cosmetics Department Manager Amanda Fattore, Chanel-Von Maur replied, “We were inspired by the organization’s philosophy of the little black dress.  We feel Chanel shares the same concepts.”

Co-founders Christine Zellers and Jenny Holzer first came up with the idea in 2006 when discussing ways to meet new friends. The name of the national organization was an “aha” moment. As the club gained traction, the founders realized the little black dress was timeless and classic. Women want to feel sexy and beautiful. “Members are recognized for their class, intelligence, and grace as well as their willingness to try new things! Being a part of something truly unique and special is as easy as throwing on a little black dress,” said Zellers.

Women 21+ are encouraged to throw on a little black dress and join in on the fun.  Tickets for this fabuous event are only $5 prior to the event and $10 at the door, which include discounts and coupons from the evening’s sponsors.  Specially priced manicures and pedicures can be scheduled by calling Pretty Penny Nails directly at 815-462-7500 as these are not included in the ticket price.  Women do not need to be members of Little Black Dress Club nor do they have to wear a little black dress.
