What Should Go Here? Former Electrical Supply Store on Cicero Avenue

The former home of Magna Electric Supply is up for sale and Patch wants to know, what should go here?

The former Magna Electric Supply, 15644 S. Cicero Avenue, needs a new business to move in and call the building home.

The building, which features 9,389 square feet of space on .646 acres, is a one-story structure with a windowed front. With two drive-up loading doors and ample parking to go with a prime location along busy Cicero Avenue, the space could be the new home of several types of businesses.

Could another type of supply store fit in the space, or would Oak Forest residents rather have something else entirely? Let Patch know in the comments below.

If anyone suggests an Ace Hardware, let me remind you there used to be one right in that area that closed because residents didn't support it.

That Ace was a pit! The employees or kids working were rude, everything was way overpriced and it was just a matter of time before they shut down. Not to mention the dozens of holes in the roof that leaked all over the floor. Suprised noone ever slipped and fell.

Naaaaah,,your never taxed to much! The Dummycrats will ALWAYS find a way to get a little more. People will cry, people will b**tch and moan and come election time,,they forget and elect the saaaaame pickpockets back into office!

Darnell, next time you bitch about taxes being too damn high, remember what they pay for. They pay for the police, fire department, libraries, public schools, roads, etc.

If customers want to shop at a locally-owned hardware store rather than the big box home improvement places (Lowe's, Home Depot, Menards), there's Grill's True Value in Midlothian or Park Ace Hardware in Tinley.
