Running a Jersey Mike's is a 'Way of Life,' Says New Lenox Sub Shop Owner

Moments before opening the doors of his Jersey Mike's sub shop to New Lenox for the first time, Mac Shimmon shared his thoughts on the business.

"It's not really a job," said Shimmon. "It's a way of life."

Shimmon owns six other Jersey Mike's besides the New Lenox location, and plans to open another in Frankfort in March.

"The quality of food is the best," Shimmon said. "It's phenomenal."
