The New Lenox-based company predominately provides community integrated residential services for adults. The company employs roughly 1,200 and hires about 400 a year. Roughly 700 staff members work in the Will county area. The corporate center is located right on Veterans Parkway in New Lenox.
Title: Independent Living Counselor
Description: An Independent Living Counselor (ILC) provides services and supports to individuals with disabilities served by TrinityServices in community residential settings. Job duties include: providing individualized assistance and coaching with personal care, meal preparation, leisure activities, transportation to jobs and appointments, and assistance with other daily activities as necessary in order to assist individuals in gaining independence and achieving personal outcomes.

Title: Qualified Developmental Disability Professional
Description: Performs highly responsible duties related to the development, implementation and coordination of Individual ServicePlans for individuals with developmental disabilities. Maintains, reviews and evaluates pertinent program data relative to each individual's growth and development; guides and leads the Community Support Team in treatment and habilitation methods; ensures that services are being correctly implemented; provides training to direct care staff as indicated; reviews individual service plans on a monthly basis
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a human service field and at least one year experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Title: Team Leader
Description: A Team Leader is responsible for leading a group of Independent Living Counselors (ILC) in all aspects. Team Leaders oversee one to three community integrated homes for adults with developmental disabilities. Duties would include: participating as a member of the Community Support Team which helps in the development and implementation of assigned individuals’ service plan, represents the agency in leadership and administrative activities, ensures a positive, normalized home environment.
Requirements: Requires the knowledge, skill, training and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences. Minimally has a high school diploma or GED. Additional qualifications include: balancing, pulling, pushing, standing, climbing, grasping, stooping, crouching, crawling, kneeling, reaching, lifting, repetitive motion, pushing wheelchairs, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
