Downrange Sports in New Lenox is offering customers a 9.11 percent discount on any purchase of at least $200.

Huge crowds spilled into the streets to do just that when the announcement was made late Sunday night, including in front of the White House. Some people disagreed with that sentiment, most notably Steelers' running back Rashard Mendenhall, who tweeted, "What kind of person celebrates death?"
Regardless of whether you celebrated, a New Lenox gun shop wants to declare it a holiday.

"PRAISE THE LORD AND PASS THE AMMUNITION," said the owner of in New Lenox on the business' Facebook page. "Since we don't have the authority to declair (sic) today a holiday we would like to offer EVERYONE 9.11% off any purchase of $200 or more."
The Facebook page is operated by the current owner, who wasn't available to talk Wednesday at the store. Incoming owner Ray Wise said he wouldn't personally celebrate but that "I'm glad we got him."

The offer expires after this Saturday, May 7, and customers must mention the Facebook post.
