Earlier this month, Chase Bank's site plan was approved and they're now advertising with a "Coming Soon" sign on Route 30. Discount Tire is under permit review, senior planner Jeff Smith said, and plans for a Goodwill retail store could come before the Village Board soon as well.

Most recently, village staff met with the developers to go over plans for two multi-tenant strip centers that would each have a drive-thru on the end. A strip center in lot 4, which is just east of Culver's, would have a maximum of eight tenants. The strip center in lot 10, just west of Auto Zone, would have a maximum of six. Smith said the developer is addressing some comments from village staff, but he expects the final plans could go before the Village Board this summer.
