New Library Cafe Opens

The New Lenox Public Library is proud to introduce the Book and Bean Too, a café which will be housed in the library.

Starting Sept. 12, 2011, you can stop in for a cup of joe, a sandwich or even a snack. Kim Stoltz, the owner, also runs the Book and Bean at the Joliet Public Library Black Road Branch.

Her menu will offer a variety of hot and cold selections including sandwiches such as her yummy chicken salad sandwich with walnuts, or her pb&j for kids.  In addition to sandwiches, a selection of hot products will also be available.  She will offer coffee, juice and soft drinks.

For a complete listing of her items, visit her website at www.bookandbeancoffeehouse.com

While food is only allowed in the café, you can bring any of the drinks into the library as you sit and read the newspaper, work on the computer or just relax and enjoy yourself.

The café’s hours will be:
Monday-Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Saturdays 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

The hours may change in the future so stay tuned!  We are very excited to have this space filled once again and hope the residents of New Lenox will enjoy all that the Book and Bean Too has to offer.
