Chobani Recalls Greek Yogurt Products As Company Investigates Concerns

Chobani, Inc. has voluntarily recalled some Greek yogurt products as the company investigates reports of product bloating and swelling and possible claims of illness, according to the Food and Drug Administration.

The recalled yogurt was distributed to stores across the country from the company's Iowa production facility. 

The recalled Greek yogurt has best by dates between Sept. 11 and Oct. 13, according to the FDA. The yogurt is also marked with the IMS code of 16-012. You can find a full list of all the affected bar codes and products on the FDA's website. 

In an interview the CEO of Chobani reported that the problem was caused by a mold common in dairy production and has been "totally fixed," ABC news reportsThe company has posted a message on its website to customers.
