Business Brief: Carey Animal Clinic Moves to Old Fire House

The short move down Route 30 will provide more space for the animal clinic.

plans to open today in the old fire station building along Route 30 and Church Street.

The veterinarian moves from its location at 278 E. Haven Ave., in the small retail center near LA Cafe. Susan Carey reported to the Village Board in October that she was looking to acquire two buildings, the former fire station and the old Village Hall building.

Employees at Carey Animal Clinic said the business will open today in the old fire house location, and the old Village Hall could be for another future use, such as grooming. Before opening, the business had to address parking and landscaping concerns.
