Pet Adoption Event @ Petsmart in Mokena this Sunday. Lincoln-Way West students help showcase pets in need!

Lincoln-Way West students volunteer their time to help find homes for the homeless pets at South Suburban Humane Society this Sunday. Pets of all ages and sizes will be there available for adoption.

This sunday (11/11/12) Lincoln-Way West High School students will be at the PetSmart in Mokena (wolf and rt. 30) from 12-3:30 showcasing some of the dogs and cats available for adoption from South Suburban Humane Society.

We will have some fantastic dogs and cats of various ages and sizes at the event. All come up to date on all vaccines, spayed/neutured, and microchipped for a small adoption fee (fees vary on age, size, etc.)

Stop by and see these awesome students who are volunteering their time to help the animals find homes. Who knows... you may end up with a new forever friend!

For the month of November all pets in the shelter over the age of 6 are only $15 to adopt as part of our Senior Pet Month promotion!

Please keep in mind that all members of the household, including other dogs must meet your new best friend before he or she can go home with you.

People coming from the east will now have to fight through school traffic at Rt. 30/Schoolhouse.Read More People from southwest New Lenox will have to either venture up Cedar, which is painfully slow... or take Spencer from Laraway, in which they will have to cross Rt. 30 to go straight. Won't be an easy picnic.
