Was Trace Adkins' Scuffle With New Lenox Trace Adkins Impersonator Beginning of the End For Trace Adkins' Marriage?

A couple months ago we told you about country singer Trace Adkins supposedly taking a swing at a Trace Adkins impersonator from New Lenox while the two were on a cruise ship bound for Jamaica.

Now ET News has reported Trace Adkins' wife filed for divorce—and made mention of the country crooner's alter ego altercation on the high seas.

"Trace reportedly got into an altercation with a Trace Adkins impersonator who was doing karaoke in a bar on the ship. Trace checked into a treatment facility after the cruise ship arrived in Jamaica," said the ET News story, which went on to ponder "if Trace's struggles with alcohol have anything to do with the breakup."

WJOL radio station outed fake Trace Adkins as a man named Mike Larsen. A Trace Adkins impersonator from New Lenox identifying himself both as "Mike" and "Trace AKA" claims he is a "look-alike/impersonator to the country music artist Trace Adkins."

Trace AKA says he is available "for events, acting, commercials, promotions, birthday parties, I sing the most popular songs of Trace Adkins. I have been in the magazine Country Weekly with Trace and on youtube with him (Trace meets Trace). I am more than willing to work hard to put on the best show possible for those that are interested."
