The longtime village leader's band is a local favorite and performed again during the Fourth of July festivities in New Lenox.
Last time we had former Village Administrator Russ Loebe on video, he to friends and co-workers at a Village Board meeting.
He had spent 40 years working for New Lenox, and many people turned out to see him out.
So how's retirement treating Loebe? Watch the videos! His band, Valid Proof, is a local favorite and has performed at the Commons before. The blues rock sextet performed favorites from artists ZZ Top, Stevie Ray Vaughan and more.
