VIDEO: 'Eye of the Tiger' and 'Vehicle' Performed at Triple Play

Ides of March featuring Jim Peterik put on a great show as one of the opening acts for Night Ranger in New Lenox last weekend, including an extended version of "Eye of the Tiger" that sent Jim Peterik into the crowd.

Oh, Jim Peterik, you know how to keep an audience entertained.

As one of the opening acts for Night Ranger in the June 2 Triple Play Concert in , Peterik and Ides of March appeased the crowd with classics not just from their band, but others Peterik's been involved with.

The band played its own hits, such as Vehicle, as well as a medley of .38 Special songs, including Hold on Loosely. But then came the encore, an extended cut of Eye of the Tiger, that sent Peterik into the crowd to dance with fans and take photos.

When the media (big-time TV stations, mostly) started to focus too much on the professional sports labor strifes, Peterik, most famous for being in Survivor and writing Eye of the Tiger, made an impromptu performance of the song. .
