Triple Play Ticket Prices Increase After This Week

If you haven't gotten tickets to this summer's New Lenox concerts, it's your last chance to get them at a discounted rate for residents. 

Since March 19, the village has offered the Triple Play Concert Series (featuring Night Ranger, Heart and Styx) tickets for $50 and tickets to Sara Evans for $25 to residents of the 60451 area code.

After Friday, those prices will increase to $60 and $30, respectively. Additionally, the tickets will now be available to everyone, not just New Lenox residents.

As of April 23, 4,000 of the 5,000 available Triple Play tickets were sold, Mayor Tim Baldermann said. The Sara Evans concert has only sold 1,000 of the 5,000 tickets, but Baldermann said he expects them to go quickly once it opens to people outside of New Lenox.

In February, the village announced that this year's Triple Play Concert Series bands would be Night Ranger, Heart and Styx.

• Cost: $50 pass (available to residents through April 27) gives you access to all three shows. If any of the 5,000 tickets are still availabe after that, they will be sold for $60 to anyone, not just residents.
• Schedule: Night Ranger (June 2); Heart (July 20); Styx (Sept. 1). Gates open at 5:30 p.m.
• Location: Tickets must be purchased at , 1 Veterans Pkwy in New Lenox. The concerts are all outside the hall on the Village Commons.

After hearing from residents who wanted a country artist to headline one of New Lenox's summer concerts, the village is adding a fourth show with country star Sara Evans.

• Cost: $25 for residents in the 60451 zip code through April 27. After that, tickets will be open to anyone and cost $30.
• Schedule: Friday, June 22. Gate opens at 5:30 p.m.
• Location: Tickets must be purchased at Village Hall, 1 Veterans Pkwy in New Lenox. The concert is outside the hall on the Village Commons.
