Only 967 Triple Play Concert Tickets Remain

Yep. We're getting that specific. Get 'em while you can.

Tickets for the Village's Triple Play concert series are dwindling—and only 967 remain after the second day of sales, Mayor Tim Baldermann told Patch Tuesday.

Following a hefty 2,300 tickets sold in the first day of sales Monday, an additional 1,733 were sold Tuesday, Baldermann said—leaving less than 1,000 up for grabs.

Tickets for New Lenox residents went on sale Monday, May 5 at 8:30 a.m., at a price tag of $50 for residents. The price stands until June 16, when any remaining tickets go up for grabs at a cost of $60. One ticket buys entry into all three shows. The Commons opens at 5:30 p.m. for all three shows. No food or alcohol is allowed in the park, but there will be vendors inside.

The 2014 Triple Play Concert Series Lineup is:

  • JULY 11: John Waite opening for Pat Benatar with Neil Giraldo
  • AUGUST 2: 10,000 Maniacs opening for Peter Frampton
  • AUGUST 30: Fabulous Thunderbirds opening for .38 Special

Tickets can be purchased at Village Hall, 1 Veterans Pkwy. For ticket information call 815-462-6400. Village Hall is open Wednesday until 7 p.m. (if any tickets remain at that time).
