The Drama Group's NOISES OFF

The Drama Group is excited to be staging the outrageous “farce of all farces,” our next production of this season, NOISES OFF directed by Tyler McMahon. Performances will be held at the Drama Group Studio Theatre on February 3rd, 4th, 9th, 10th and 11th at 7:30pm and February 5th and 12th at 2pm.  The Studio Theatre is located at 330 W. 202nd Street, Chicago Heights, Illinois. 

Tickets are $19.00 for adults and $18.00 for seniors and $15 for students with ID. Group discount rates are also available.  Good seats are still available, however, due to brisk advance sales, rather than waiting to purchase at the door, it is recommended to call the Drama Group box office at (708) 755-3444 for advance sales.

NOISES OFF takes a fond look at the follies of theatre folk, whose susceptibility to out-of-control egos, memory loss and passionate affairs turn every performance into a high-risk adventure.
This comedy-within-a-comedy captures a touring theatre troupe’s production of Nothing On in three stages: dress rehearsal, a performance a few weeks into the tour, and a performance toward the end of the run.
Each performance is packed with comedy progressing from flubbed lines and missed cues in the dress rehearsal to mounting friction between cast members in second act and finally everything that can go wrong does go wrong in the final act.
Brimming with slapstick comedy, Noises Off is a backstage farce of slamming doors, falling trousers and flying sardines!
