The weekend celebration is kicked off with a Lincoln‐Way Area Battle of the Bands, coordinated by all four of the Lincoln‐Way #210 High Schools.
This year the battle will be hosted at The Hub, located one mile south of Route 30 in the industrial complex on the west side of Schoolhouse Road in New Lenox on Friday night beginning at 7:00p.m., with doors opening at 6:30p.m.
This event is open to all High School students in the Lincoln‐Way area. Entry to the battle is free, but those attending must present a current school ID card. This is an annual favorite for all aspiring bands to reveal their talent to a captive audience.
