All day Friday, special events will take place in downtown Joliet.
Friday is a free day at Joliet Area Historical Museum from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. Check out the ice sculpting demonstration from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.
See the tree lighting ceremony at 5:15 and then at 5:30, the parade begins. The University of St. Francis is the major sponsor for the Light Up the Holidays parade.
