Country Singer Trace Adkins Punches New Lenox Trace Adkins Impersonator on Cruise Ship: Report
The dustup reportedly landed the real Trace Adkins in rehab. We imagine fake Trace Adkins is landing back in New Lenox some time or other.
NEW LENOX, IL — A Trace Adkins impersonator (there's a Trace Adkins impersonator?) took a punch from the real Trace Adkins on a cruise ship, radio station WJOL reported.
TMZ was also on the story but didn't say anything about New Lenox. Here's what TMZ did say: "Trace was headlining a country cruise headed to Jamaica. He was in the bar when something happened between him and a Trace impersonator who was doing Karaoke. Trace—who had been sober for 12 years—had fallen off the wagon and got into a physical fight with the impersonator."
WJOL identifies fake Trace Adkins as a man named Mike Larsen. A Trace Adkins impersonator from New Lenox identifying himself both as "Mike" and "Trace AKA" claims he is a "look-alike/impersonator to the country music artist Trace Adkins."
Trace AKA says he is available "for events, acting, commercials, promotions, birthday parties, I sing the most popular songs of Trace Adkins. I have been in the magazine Country Weekly with Trace and on youtube with him (Trace meets Trace). I am more than willing to work hard to put on the best show possible for those that are interested."
