Foreigner performed before a sold-out crowd Aug. 31 at New Lenox's Village Commons.

The final concert in New Lenox's annual summertime Triple Play Series was a success, if cheering fans are a measure.  

The weather was a bit threatening, with a few rain drops falling just as the band was about to step on stage, but it came off without a hitch.
