Chicago Auto Show

Where: McCormick Place, 2301 S. Martin Luther King Dr., Chicago
When: Opens Friday at 10 a.m. and runs daily 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. through Sunday, Feb. 20.
Why go: Chance to see newest automobiles, concept cars, auto-related exhibits, competition vehicles, antique and collector cars under one roof.

Doctor Who: The Movie:  This 1995 TV movie starring Paul McGann as the Eighth Doctor is finally available in North America (unrated).

For Colored Girls: Tyler Perry's adaptation of the popular stage play offers an impressive ensemble cast. Rated R.

It's Kind of a Funny Story: Zach Galifianakis suprises audiences with his warm, heartfelt performance in this touching comedy. Rated PG-13.

Life as We Know It: Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel star as two really good-looking people who co-inherit a child. PG-13.

Paranormal Activity 2: A family sets up security cameras around their home to uncover the truth about the mysterious breakins they're experiencing. Rated R.

Project Runway: The Complete Eighth Season: This reality series offers aspiring fashion designers a chance to break into the industry. The finale comes down to "catty" vs "cool."
