Bad Company Arrives in New Lenox Saturday. Are You Ready?

Are you gearing up for the Bad Company concert Saturday night at the Village Commons?

Bad Company is the first up on the Triple Play Concert Series. The band is expected to take the stage before a sold-out crowd at 9 p.m. June 29 at the Village Commons performing arts pavilion.

They'll be playing in Hammond, Ind., on Friday and New Lenox the following day. According to the Ultimate Classic Rock website, featuring Bad Company's 40th anniversary tour, these '70s rockers kicked off a six week tour from June 15-Aug. 3; they'll be travelling throughout the United States and Canada.

Lead singer Paul Rodgers and the band has teamed up to perform with Lynyrd Skynyrd  for 13 out of 22 concerts this summer. A Skynyrd performance was not included in the New Lenox contract. 

The opening bands are: 

  • Deborah Bonham—the younger sister of drummer John Bonham of Led Zeppelin fame—at 7 p.m.
This is the fifth year of the Triple Play Concert Series in New Lenox. The next two concerts in the 2013 series are:
