ShareFest Needs to Raise $10,000 in 30 Days: Can You Help?

Donations needed to meet goal for ShareFest home makeover project.

In May, ShareFest announced plans to undertake its first ever home makeover project. Since then the Prairie House Project has received numerous donations and volunteer services to help provide Ray, Don and Lawrence Sabec with a new home. The brothers’ current home was built by their father in 1946 and is currently in a severe state of disrepair both inside and out. Giving the Sabec brothers a safe place to call home is the ultimate goal.

“Through the sharing and caring of the New Lenox people and businesses, we’ve raised about 90% of funds and supplies needed to make this renovation happen,” said Gary Cheney, ShareFest organizer.
