Motorists lined up for the hazardous waste collection that was part of the many events at ShareFest 2013.
Will County Green's hazardous waste collection team worked hard to keep up with the thousands of pounds of aerosol cans, varnish, leftover insecticide and more that was dropped off.
Wearing protective suits and gloves, County staff lifted, tossed and scooped up any and all of the waste that came their way.
Hazardous Waste Collector Derrick Wilson greeted people with a smile and thanked them for participating in ShareFest 2013.
Waste collectors will be at Spencer School Campus, 1711 S. Spencer Road, New Lenox, till 3 p.m. Sept. 14.
Crowds were also attracted to the tables that were stacked with donated clothes, household goods and books.
