A New Lenox family needs help locating their dog.

Skeet, a 2-year-old black male, got loose in the Rivendell neighborhood near Francis and Townline roads about 5:45 p.m. Thursday, said Brian Simowitz.

Skeet is "very friendly but afraid of his own shadow," Simowitz said.

Skeet has been micro-chipped but was not wearing a collar when he got out.

Simowitz is offering a reward for Skeet's return. If you see him, please call 815-409-9628.
