Warehouse Workers for Justice Speaker

Community members are invited to hear Abe Mwaura, an organizer for Warehouse Workers for Justice, speak about the amendment to the Intermodal Facilities Promotion Act.  This amendment will ensure that warehouse workers' jobs in Will County and throughout Illinois are living wage, direct hire jobs, not low wage, temporary jobs.   

Abe Mwaura will be explaining the Act and the ammendment they seek; he will be speaking on January 12, at St. Jude Parish at 7 pm in Franciscan Hall, Room 4.  If you are one of these temporary warehouse workers and you would like to share your story, please join us on Jan. 12th.
