The New Lenox Fire Protection District will be hosting it's annual Open House to celebrate Fire Prevention Month. Bring the entire family for a free, fun-filled day at the fire station! There will be music, free hot dogs, and free Snow Cones provided by Old Plank Trail Community Bank. The kids can go through the safety house and Jr. Firefighter obstacle course. We will also be giving rides in the fire engines with the lights and sirens too! At 1 p.m. Lifestar Helicopter will land on Prairie Street for all to see! You can tour the fire station, meet the firefighters, Sparky and RED, our Search and Rescue blood hound!

More About New Lenox Fire Protection District
The Fire Protection District has four stations spread throughout New Lenox, and Station No. 1, located off Route 30, is also home to the administrative offices.
Residents may go to Station No. 1 to get information on ambulance billing, permits, residential safety inspections and fire prevention training.
