The Lincoln-Way Central/West Orchestra and Lincoln-Way
Central/West Guitar Studio will begin the 2012-2013 Concert Season with a performance October 4th at 7:00pm in the Fine Arts Auditorium at Lincoln-Way Central High School. The orchestra program will include Overture to the Marriage of Figaro, Intermezzo from Cavalleria Rusticana , and Hungarian Dance #5; the guitar studio portion of the performance will feature works by both classical composers Ravel and Vivaldi as well as the contemporary piece Chasing Dragons by Darren Au.
Admission to the concert is FREE, but please bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the local food bank.

More About Lincoln-Way Central High School
Lincoln-Way Central is one of four high schools in the public Lincoln-Way system. It is also the home of the district offices and administration, including Superintendent Lawrence Wyllie. Its mascot is the Knights, and the school offers a huge variety of clubs and sports for students.
The Lincoln-Way schools are all large and provide top-notch facilities. District administrators are also proud that its high shools have test scores in the top 11 percent of all 656 Illinois high schools. Lincoln-Way has one of the lowest per-pupil expenditures in the Chicago area.
Students living within the boundaries of Manhattan School District No. 114 and Martino Junior High in New Lenox School District No. 122 attend Lincoln-Way Central.
