This one-hour workshop is designed to show students and parents what college admissions officers want to see in an essay. The workshop will examine the types of topics students will encounter, cover the four steps to writing a winning essay and critique a sample admissions essay. More About New Lenox Public Library District
The public library got its new home in 2001 and was the first building on the relatively new Village Commons area. The two-story building has a collection of about 145,000 books, and has ample space for computers and study areas.
There are countless programs for people of any age, and free Wi-Fi for card holders or guests. The library is quiet and spacious, and one must-see is a life-size fake tree that is in the back in the children's section.
Study rooms may be reserved, and there are also public meeting rooms in the library.
