The 2013 election for the New Lenox Public Library District has six candidates running for three open seats. The 6-year term has attracted incumbents and newcomers alike. 2013 Election: New Lenox Township Races are Uncontested

Voters once again have a chance to cast a ballot for each and every seat in the New Lenox Township Office.

As is routine, each position within the New Lenox Township Office, including full-time govrning positions and trustees, are up for election. Current Township Supervisor Bill McCollum is not running for office. Instead, current trustee, Mike Hickey, is running for the office of New Lenox Township supervisor. The open seats are for supervisor, assessor, clerk, highway commissioner and collector along with four trustee seats. None of the candidates face opposition. New Lenox Village Trustees Running Uncontested: Election 2013

Three incumbent trustees are running uncontested for the New Lenox Village Board.

Thre incumbents are running uncontested for the New Lenox Village Board. The three are: Annette Bowden, Dave Smith and Ray Tuminello. No other petitions were taken out for the April 9 Consolidated Election. In the last municipal election, there was also no contention for the Village Board seats. Trustees David Butterfield, Nancy Dye and Keith Madsen all ran unopposed, as did Mayor Tim Baldermann.  Smith was appointed to the board in 1990 and has served five terms. Bowden was appointed the following year and has also served five terms. Tuminello was elected to the board in 2005 and has since been re-elected. The municipal election is April 9. On my way to work I noticed a number of signs at the light on the northside of town and when I went by going home half of the signs were removed. Who is removing some signs but leaving others???
